Judges praised her success in leading complex projects, applying advanced academic research to real-world delivery and achieving outstanding outcomes for clients while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Her commitment to professional development, mentoring apprentices and championing the next generation, particularly women in engineering, was all highlighted as part of the award recognition.

Megan, said: “It means a lot to be acknowledged alongside such talented professionals across the industry. I am fortunate to work within a supportive team at Castle that encourages continuous development and I am passionate about developing my skills while supporting the next generation coming into the industry.

He has also embraced Castle’s mentoring culture, working closely with operations director, Shaun Powell FCIOB, BSc (Hons), while undertaking both internal and external CPD and completing his Level 6 NVQ in Construction Management following his Construction Engineering and Project Management BSc (Hons) degree in 2023.

Alongside his own professional development, Fraser also mentors PlanBEE trainees, providing live site experience and leading educational visits for construction students at Gateshead College.

Craig Muldoon, divisional director Build, at Castle, said: “Both Megan and Fraser’s achievements at the G4C Awards reflect the strength of talent within the business and the dedication the pair show to maintaining a standard of excellence in everything they do. They are strong examples of how investing in training, wellbeing and professional development can strengthen culture, raise standards and support long-term growth across the business.”
