Castle Building Services installed a Dimplex SI 30 TE heat pump, with buffer vessels located at the far end of the workshop within Randstad. For this installation, Castle has been responsible for the ground loop installation, installation of the heat pump and connection/commissioning on the heat pump and ground collector.

The heat pump system is being serviced by 18 x 100m loops buried 1200mm below ground level in the grounds of the property. The manifold is located in the manifold chamber to the rear of the building. This is where all 18 ground loops are brought together to form one flow and one return. The flow and return pipe connect the ground collector to the heat pump.

Energy from the Ground Source system provides heating throughout the office areas of the factory.
